While vacationing in Grand Haven, we decided to take a day trip north to explore more of Michigan. As soon as we arrived at Point Betsie Lighthouse, our Suburban’s heat exchange hose burst, dumping antifreeze all over the engine compartment. We had the vehicle towed back to Grand Haven and were referred to John at T & J Auto Works. He had us tow it directly to his shop.
Since we were from out of town and traveling with a camper, we were in a difficult situation and needed the repair completed as quickly as possible so we could move our trailer and make it home. John understood our predicament, worked us into his schedule, and had our Suburban repaired the very next morning.
After an extremely expensive towing bill, we were worried about what the repair would cost. John was honest, fair, prompt, and incredibly courteous. He took great care of us, communicated clearly throughout the process, and gave us complete peace of mind during a stressful situation.
